ATTEND this sale at your own risk. Central Wisconsin Horse Sale (CWHS) will not be held liable for any injuries sustained by anyone attending the sale as per 1995 Wisconsin Act 256, relating to: limitation of civil liability related to equine activities.

PLEASE NOTE, children under the age of 15 are not allowed in the horse barns, unless accompanied by their parents or guardians.

CANADIAN BUYERS, Please note that if you are attending the sale and wish to write a check for any purchases, the check MUST BE stamped US Funds Only AND for each check that you write, you must provide a $15 wire transfer fee, IN CASH.. This is a requirement by our Bank.

ABSOLUTELY NO STROLLERS OR WAGONS with babies or small children are allowed in the horse barns.

ALL TACK & HORSE CHECKS will be mailed within 10 days of sale dates. NOTE: There is a MINIMUM $2.00 amount. Single consignments brought in, that net less then $2.00 will be voided and the amount will not be sent to consignors.

ONLY CURRENT YEAR ORIGINAL COGGINS papers can be accepted. This means absolutely no copies or facsimiles. Papers that have been tampered with or altered in any way CANNOT be accepted. HORSES coming in from OUT-OF-STATE, MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate, with destination listed as Central Wisconsin Horse Sale, 1194 E Division St, Neillsville, WI. 54436

NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE - If your horse was tested in another State, prior to your owning him and the Coggins is a current year test, the Horse Must Have Been in the State of Wisconsin a MINIMUM of 30 days and you will be required to sign a statement thereof. If your Horse has NOT been in Wisconsin for 30 Days, we cannot accept him at the sale without an Interstate Health Certificate. NO EXCEPTIONS.

WATER is available in the main horse barn. HAY will be sold at a cost of $3 per bale (4-day sales only). HAY IS NOT provided at our one day summer sales or the October sale.

LUNCH is available on the grounds, breakfast served at 6:00 a.m.

ALL PURCHASES are to be paid at the end of each sale day. No credit card payments. CASH OR GOOD CHECK. Anyone writing an Insufficient Funds or Closed Account Check will be prosecuted.

PLEASE NOTE/REGISTERED HORSES:

All registration information must be given to CWHS upon entering the sale ring with your horse. Your transfers and breeding certificates must be filled out & transfers signed at that time. (Consignors selling Horses, without their registration papers in hand, will be sold as Grades day of sale.) PERCHERONS cannot be sold on application. Percheron & Belgian Stallions must be blood typed. Buyers be sure to register your bidding numbers with your name as you want it to appear on your registration papers. Consignors, if you leave the sale without completing your registration paperwork, your check will be held until everything is in order.
